Sustainability

Strybos Barron King takes a proactive approach to being informed about cutting edge sustainable design and construction technologies through participation in continuing education opportunities and developing on-going relationships with industry representatives. Sustainable design objectives are achieved in our projects through the inclusion of native plantings, green roofs, rainwater harvesting, tree preservation, and structural soil technologies.

 

Many of our projects incorporate Low Impact Development (LID) initiatives such as bio-swales, permeable pavements, drought tolerant landscaping, water conservation, sustainable stormwater management, and recycled products. We have extensive experience providing Landscape Architectural services for projects seeking LEED Certification and are familiar with the required design standards and procedures.

 

Our portfolio includes experience in projects with green design objectives which have resulted in the successful integration of environmentally conscious construction methods and products into the finished landscape.
